Father's Day - Top Pop

Father's Day is a day to honour our fathers and father figures, such as grandfathers and fathers-in-law.

What better excuse do we need to treat them to a card with slogans such as "The World's Best Dad" or "Top Pop".

We have great artists suitable for Father's Day art and all other male occasions through the year, so please do feel free to take a look by using our keyword search facility – or consider briefing a bespoke commission with one of our artists for that truly unique card!

Standing Out at the Spring Fair 2017

A BIG Thanks from the Image Source team for popping by our stand at Spring Fair 2017 and taking time to peruse the latest artwork in the portfolios. It’s always such a joy to show the very newest art in ‘face to face’ meetings and engage in that creative dialogue about upcoming trends, product development and exciting future range ideas too.

We were excited to launch new artists at the show and really highlight the amazing talent with the established Image Source artists too and we will be thrilled to share the art as it’s developed in the coming year!

A BIG shout out also goes to the publishers and manufacturers for creating and launching such lovely product this year - We were thrilled to see so much new design on offer at the show from our family of artists.

If you were unable to visit the show this year, do feel free to get in touch as we will be very happy to send you the latest art via email and discuss your future development needs or specific commission briefs – the artists always love those!

Spring Fair always kicks starts the year – and we hope it’s a wonderfully creative one for us all!

Artist Spotlight - Simon Treadwell

This weeks Artist Spotlight is Simon Treadwell
"I have wonderful memories of being encouraged to draw from the age of five by my mum. After taking up Classical Studies in Art and realisng that for me Art was a need, not a choice, I completed my studies and set out to make it my career.
After many years working as a advertising illustator, I took the leap and became a freelance artist. With many new creative challenges ahead finding a great agent to take care of all the bits I didn't have time for allowed me to find a very happy balance and focus solely on the art.
My portfolio consists of a variety of subjects, from traditional detailed landscapes and charming woodland scenes, fluffy snowmen, puppies and cute whimsical children, which are used on a mix of products around the world. I particularly love working on my Christmas designs and I'm most proud of what has become my well-loved 'Signature' Father Christmas ... I really don't think it gets anymore magical than this!".

Artist Spotlight - Sue Reeves

This weeks Artist Spotlight is Sue Reeves.

"I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember – and working professionally for nearly 20 years. My art career took off when I entered an art competition to design my very own greetings card – and to my surprise – I won!

I’ve been fortunate enough to have had many works published worldwide and it’s always such a wonderful surprise to see my very own designs printed as ‘real’ products and on sale in shops. There is no better feeling for any artist to thumb through the racks of cards and see your very own creations sitting there for all to see. I still feel a huge smile cross my face when I spot one and I want to grab the nearest person and shout “I did this!”

I feel very fortunate to be doing what I feel is ‘the best job ever’".
